About OpenSign

On this website, you find a database with information about sign language products & projects. I started out with ICT projects in the EU, then I began to add all sign language related EU projects, now I am trying to add as many projects/products as I can find.

All the info. is copied 'as is' from other websites and databases; I cannot vouch for the correctness of the information, or for the results or quality of the projects/products. My only objective: to make information - and people! - easier to find, so that we can collaborate instead of replicate what's already been done.

Some info. on this website may be outdated; I leave it in the database, because it may still be relevant to some.

The Open Sign database is, and will forever be: work in progress.

Update:

I've added a new tab to the top-menu: SL dictionaries. Here you can find info about all (not yet!) online Sign Language dictionaries, that you can consult from your desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet. As with the OpenSign Projects-database: very much work in progress!
